  • What is ELEC?

    Established in 1973‚ ELEC monitors the campaign financing of all elections in the State. Whether the election is for Governor or Mayor‚ member of the Legislature or a City Council‚ candidates and campaign organizations are required to file with the Commission contribution and expenditure reports.

R-1 Electronic Filing

Prior to the 2013 Primary and General Elections, notice went out to all R-1 Electronic Filing System Software filers indicating that the R-1 Electronic Filing System program had to be upgraded in order to continue to file electronically. If you did not upgrade to R-1 Electronic Filing System Software Version 3.7.2 or higher, NOTE that as of June 30, 2014 you will not be able to file your campaign finance report electronically. If you use the R-1 Electronic Filing System software, go to the link that was previously emailed to you to upgrade, or contact the electronic filing help desk at (609) 292-8700for assistance with the upgrade.
