Ten municipal‚ one state assembly‚ one mayoral‚ and one county commissioner candidates must pay fines and fees totaling $27‚137.49 for violating the Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Reporting Act (Campaign Act)‚ the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) announced today.

The goal of the newsletter is to acquaint the State’s residents with important information in the areas of campaign finance‚ gubernatorial public financing‚ lobbying‚ and pay–to–play.

The two state political parties and four legislative leadership committees got a significant boost in the 2023 general election under higher contribution limits enacted in April 2023‚ according to an analysis by the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC).

Due to the inclement weather and Governor Murphy’s directive that State offices be delayed for two-hours‚ the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 16‚ 2024 at 11:00 a.m. will be available via Zoom only.

By 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday‚ January 16‚ 2024‚ the fourth quarterly report for 2023 of the State Political Party Committees‚ Legislative Leadership Committees‚ political party committees and continuing political committees that were received on or before 5:00 p.m. on the due date of January 16‚ 2024‚ will be available for public inspection on the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission’s (ELEC) website.

The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission will have a meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday‚ January 16‚ 2024 at the Commission’s office at 25 South Stockton Street‚ 5^th Floor‚ Trenton‚ New Jersey.

The fourth quarterly report (Form Q-4) filed by Governmental Affairs Agents‚ due on or before January 10‚ 2024‚ by 5:00 p.m.‚ will be available for public inspection on the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission’s (ELEC) website by 7:00 p.m. January 10‚ 2024.
