Sixty-seven municipal‚ five mayoral‚ two county commissioner‚ one county sheriff‚ and one county clerk non-filer complaints were issued on July 12‚ 2023. In total‚ 76 complaints were issued against candidates for the 2022 municipal and primary election for violating the Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Reporting Act (Campaign Act)‚ the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) announced today.

On Thursday‚ July 20‚ 2023 at 10:00 a.m.‚ the second quarterly report of the State Political Party Committees and the Legislative Leadership Committees of 2023‚ filed on or before July 17‚ 2023‚ will be available for public inspection on the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission’s (ELEC) website and at its offices at 25 S. Stockton Street‚ 5^th Floor‚ Trenton.

With all 120 legislative seats in play this fall‚ legislative candidates have $7.7 million in leftover funds they can spend on the upcoming general election‚ according to post-primary reports filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC).
